Details that make an estimate accurate
For carpet, the number of rooms, stairs, and hallways plus any spots or pet areas you want treated. For tile and grout, approximate square footage and whether showers are included. For windows, the window count, how many stories, and whether screens and tracks are included. For stone, the surface type — marble, travertine, or granite — and where it is.
Before we arrive
Clear small items, breakables, and floor clutter from the areas being cleaned. Pick up cords and pet bowls. We move furniture where it is needed, but an open floor speeds everything up.
For window cleaning, unlock the rooms we need access to and move fragile items off sills. For stone and grout work, let us know about any recent repairs, sealers, or prior products used — it changes what we do.
Pets and parking
Plan a quiet room for pets during the visit, especially with extraction equipment running. Nearby parking helps too, since hoses and equipment need a direct path in.
Afterward
Keep traffic light on damp carpet for a few hours and let air move through the rooms. On freshly sealed grout or stone, avoid heavy cleaning for a day or two so the sealer cures properly.
